Kasu, the Real World Asset (RWA) business lending protocol, secured $3 million in funding in a round co-led by Woodstock, Faculty Group, and Morningstar Ventures. Other participants include Cypher Capital, Matterblock, Andromeda Capital, NxGen, Rarestone Ventures, Asteroid Capital, and Optic Capital.
KASU is a joint venture (JV) between Faculty Group and Apxium Technologies (Apxium) that aims to change the RWA lending industry. In the past, Faculty Group has achieved notable success in Web3 and DeFi, while Apxium has received numerous awards for its innovation in FinTech and TradFi.
The funds raised will be invested in developing KASU’s innovative platform, which redefines the current RWA lending standards through proprietary technology. This technology optimizes businesses' cash flows, improving credit risk and higher-quality yields.
